Sam was born with a Basketball in his hands, with both parents playing professional Basketball across Australia, and representing the Country. Sam played junior basketball at Sturt Sabres from 5 years old and over to Nunawading Spectres in Victoria, growing up to play SEABL for Nunawading, and participating in National School Championships. Sam moved back to South Australia and played NBL1 for Norwood Flames, winning two state championships after playing for Carroll College in Montana, USA within the Division 1 NAIA Association.

Sam is a small business owner, starting Futr Digital in 2016 that specialises in website development and eCommerce, along with digital footprint growth.

Sam has a life-long love for the sport of Basketball and wishes to “give something back” to the game that supported him through his youthful years. As the recipient of a sporting Scholarship in high-school, Sam understands the importance of funding for younger participants of the game of Basketball that may not otherwise be able to reach their full potential.
