FRIDAY 21st JULY // BOOMERS WORLD CUP LUNCHEON //
The Free Throw Foundation is pleased to present our next luncheon to be held at The Highway on the 21st of July 2023.
With the FIBA Men’s World Cup tipping off in late August we are pleased to have secured Mitch McCarron as our guest speaker.
Fresh off representing Australia at the 3×3 World Cup in France and representing the Boomers throughout the World Cup Qualifying stages, Mitch will be in a perfect position to share his thoughts on whether the Boomers can build upon their Olympic bronze medal success over the two week tournament being played across the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia. As the current captain of the 36ers, Mitch is sure to provide some insights into the season ahead as well as the major changes that he has been involved in as a Board Member of the Australian Basketball Players’ Association.
These lunches are always a great opportunity to catch up with the basketball community whilst supporting South Australia’s basketball youth.
