The Free Throw Foundation is delighted to announce today the release of its next round of funding to the SA Basketball community through its “Assist Program”.
“The Assist Program has been designed as part of our overall strategy to help young people stay in our sport of basketball and to date we have given back thousands’s of dollars in funding to help these young players stay in the game.”
Free Throw Foundation Chairman David Spear said today.
“This next round of funding is a direct result of the basketball community’s contribution to the events we have had and the Board is very proud of where we have got to so far. The funds are set aside for the Boards determination in March 2017.” Spear said.
“We have an online process for applicants and each one is discussed by the Board and follow a strict process of good corporate governance in the review of applicants to ensure we get the right outcomes.” Spear said.
Applications can now be made direct online from the Free Throw Foundation website and close on the 13th of March.
